The fish was fresh, ginger rice was great, service was quick and they play jazz music. Lava sauce gives just enough heat. Also it comes with miso soup and a pack of seaweed. GREAT value, and I can't believe how I didn't find this place sooner. They offer lots of toppings that other places don't offer, like kimchi, the crunchy noodle thingy and pickled mushroom thingy. Everything was great. For sure coming back
Stop reading this review and order! This is now my go-to spot for poke. Honestly had me doubting other places. The staff is always warm and welcoming. Bowls are usually filled to the top with fresh and tasty ingredients! My first time I was a little confused on the process, but staff was patient and answered all questions regarding sauces/toppings etc. I would recommend you go earlier in the day as they can run out of toppings . Let's not forget the FREE miso soup and seaweed packet. Again, why go anywhere else. Love DeepSeas Poke
This is definitely one of the best poke spots in SCV! The portions are generous and the fish is fresh with many options for sauces and toppings

I came across this place looking for a quick place to eat on the way to a meeting. Siri suggested Subway and with little time to look I headed to a Subway. With my Luck Deep Sea Poke was next door it had an A from the health department so I gave it a try. They post a menu starting with your choice or rice or spring mix. I chose the Ginger Rice. You then could chose 3 proteins and then we get to sauces and toppings with a little bit of everything all included. It came with a Miso soup and a package of seaweed. The owner was super friendly. I found very good value and great flavors I will be back
